Hope everyone is doing great. This first week of Digital Storytelling was certainly an interesting one. One that let me take advantage of some skills in Photo editing and photography that I’m still trying to develop to this day. The assignments that took place this week had some really cool concepts that I was happy to explore. Here is what I completed over the course of this week.
Firstly, I engaged in the Photo Safari, where I take as many pictures as I can based on 15 categories in a span of 15 minutes. It was a really fun exercise, especially due to the fact that I was in my Grandmother’s house and not my own. Because of this, it challenged me a little bit but it was a fun challenge regardless. If you want to find all of the pictures that I took, you can find them here at my blog post related to the safari or you can find them here on my Flickr. I also have a post related to all of the things that I read and watch related to visuals of story telling. For that you can visit this blog post here.
Second, we have the daily creates that I’ve done this week. Here are those below:
Finally, we have the visual assignments for this week that I’ve completed. I completed the following assignments to meet the 10 point mark.
- Create a Book Jacket: 5 Stars
- Be Your Own Best Friend!: 3 Stars
- Concert You Want To Be At: 2 Stars
You can find the link to the visual assignments page here.
All in all, this week has been great as far as what I’ve been able to do creatively. It has also been great due to a lot of other things outside of school work. I hope you all enjoy what I had to offer for this week and I’ll be sure to see you next week. Take care.
